What to expect on Sunday Morning

We worship from 9.30 - 10.30 every Sunday. Our Church has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, so make yourself at home.

Here's a helpful list of what you can expect to experience when you visit on Sunday morning from when you park in Whitegates Avenue, getting around the church, following along in worship, and the all-important coffee and chat after the service.

Parking

We have plenty of street parking out front of the church. Handicapped parking space is available on the grass at the entrance.

Public Transport

Our Church is located close to Pindari Road Shopping Centre, Peakhurst Heights and Hurstville Golf Course, Peakhurst Heights . The closest train station is Riverwood which is about 4km: a 25 minute walk. The Bus Route is 944. Nearest bus stop is about 5 minutes walk from our Church. Buses can be caught from Riverwood Shopping Centre or Mortdale Shopping Centre.

Entrance

When you enter the church, you will be warmly welcomed by two congregational members. These Welcomers will be able to answer any immediate questions you may have.  Bathrooms are located in the church hall which is the building at the rear of the property.

Worship Services

Worship happens in the church, and you can sit anywhere. Our services include singing, prayers, readings from the Bible and a message from the leader. We have Communion on the first Sunday of the month. Everyone is welcome to receive Communion.

Everything you need to follow along with the worship services is either printed or projected on the large screen. All the parts of the service are clearly laid out and the preacher provides additional guidance and explanation throughout the service.

The service closes with a Blessing.

Sunday School and Young Adults

We do not currently run a Sunday School however children are more than welcome to be part of our worshipping community.

Children stay in church with the adults for the first part of the service and are then invited to move to the Church Hall for child friendly activities or to stay with their parents in church and complete some puzzles or colouring in activity.

Music

We sing both traditional and contemporary hymns, which are accompanied by organ.

After the service

After the Sunday Service everyone is invited to stay for a coffee / tea and chat.

If you are new to our Church, make yourself known to the Welcomers who greet everyone as they enter the Church. These people can provide more information and answer any questions you may have about our Church.
